In this digital age, Content curation is an essential skill for the modern learning and development professional. If content is king, then you need to learn how to Curate like a King to gather and share information to educate, inspire and inform. In this course we will look at what content curation is and tools available to curate content.

This online course will examine the concept of content curation and how you can use it in the design and delivery of your learning experiences.

Brain based study has shown that “physiologically, your neurons are keen and alert for no more than 20 consecutive minutes. At the end of those 20 minutes, your neurons have gone from full-fledged alert to total collapse”. Not only is bite sized learning beneficial for your brain, it provides an opportunity to learn in a time effective manner in our busy day to day lives.

We will introduce a range of tools and tips that learning designers might use to create more bite sized learning objects, that can be stand alone resources or part of a greater learning experience.

  • Learn how to reduce cognitive load using bite sized learning
  • Identify the challenges and opportunities for bite sized learning
  • Learn how to make bite sized learning accessible, flexible and learner driven
  • Understand the 7 step process for creating bite sized learning
